I know we have our annual mom’s retreat coming up, which is a fabulous day long get away that speaks directly to the needs of homeschooling moms.  If you haven’t signed up yet, I personally recommend that you do today. 

I also would like you to know about a weekend-long retreat experience that is happening the weekend before, presented by the Miles Christi priests, an apostolate and order that is dedicated solely to the practice of Ignatian Spirituality, specifically the Spiritual Exercises, and retreats designed to help the lay faithful grow in holiness.  Several SHHE moms have attended in the past, including Kathy Pino.  In order to better serve our children as homeschool moms, we must first attend to our own spiritual growth.  This 3-day silent retreat beginsFriday, Feb 19-21, right here in Phoenix.  (See below for details). 

If you can’t make this one due to many reasons, nonetheless that of many little children at home, please keep a silent retreat on your radar for future years.  And sign up for the SHHE retreat today!!

As we enter into the new year, we would like you to know that we will be preaching the Spiritual Exercises in Arizona on the following dates:

For Women:

·        February 19-21, 2016 in Scottsdale, AZ

For Men:

·        October 21-23, 2016 in Scottsdale, AZ

These retreats will take place at the Franciscan Renewal Center. They begin on Friday at 4:00 pm and end on Sunday at 5:00pm.
